Recipe Folio AI

Take a photo of the page. Cook from it tonight.

A cookbook. A magazine. A photo a friend sent you. Recipe Folio AI turns the page into a recipe you can cook from, then helps you plan the week, host the table and shop for it.

Snap it. Plan it. Host it. Shop it. Cook it. Get better at it.

Here is the whole app, in the order you would use it.

The scan preview, page two of three waiting to be read as one recipe

Snap

Point the phone at the page. Long recipe? Take up to four photos and they come back as one.

The week as a row of dated squares, Friday selected, breakfast and dinner planned

Plan

Tap a day and add a meal. Skip ahead a week, or ten. Your whole week sits in a row of squares at the top.

The Events tab, three events coming up and two in the past, each with its guests and dishes

Host

Having people over? Give it a date and say how many are coming. Pick the dishes from your recipes and each one is scaled to your guests. Print the menu on one page.

The Shopping tab, with Planner and Events at the top and the week's lists under it

Shop

One list for the week, one for tonight, one for the party. The same thing lands on one line. Print it, send it to your Reminders, or share it.

Cook mode, step three of seven, with a two minute timer offered from the step

Cook

One step at a time, in big type. The screen stays on. If a step has a time in it, the timer is right there.

How was it, four stars out of five and a note for next time reading dress it just before serving

Improve

Give it stars and leave a note. Next time you cook it, your note is waiting.

Free, and you can scan as much as you like.

Snapping, cooking, timers and changing the serving size cost nothing, and they never will. Plus adds four things: photo reading for hard pages, the meal planner, events and shopping lists. It is US$2.99 a month or US$19.99 a year.

Your recipes stay on your phone.

We do not have a copy. There is no cloud and no sync.

Your photos are read on the phone itself, unless you use photo reading in Plus and say yes.
